Hi, i have a Acer Extenser 5230 and over the last couple of weeks it's been doing something strange.
i was using it last night and everything was fine, when i went to TURN it on this morning it wouldn't turn on, the green light to tell me it's plugged in was on and every time i press the power button the light goes out and then COMES on again but nothing else happens.

This did happen a couple of weeks ago i left it charging for a couple hours and it turned on perfectly but now i have to leave it charging for 12/24 hours before it will start. The laptop isn't old as i only BOUGHT it in november so i don't think the battery could be dying.

If you're able can you return it to the place where you bought it? With only being 3 months old you've purchased a computer with a problem. Don't WASTE your time trying to repair it.

Power laptop down. Remove AC adapter from laptop. Remove the battery from laptop. Plug AC adaptor back in. Power up laptop.Thanks for all the help but nothings working . so i've contacted acer and their going to pick it up on monday to fix it
