Answer» So i had posted here a while ago about how my laptop battery had died and just wouldnt GO past 5 percent. WELL now i BOUGHT a new battery and charged it too full and then when i turned it on it wasnt plugged in so when i check battery life it was at 95% but it has been pluged in and on for the past HOUR and it still is at 95%. Could this be something wrong with my laptop or with my charger? Thank you for any help anyone can offer.Maybe I don't understand your question but if it is plugged in it is always charging.As the battery is approaching full charge, the charging current is reduced. That last 5% can take hours.It has now been plugged in for over 12 hours and is still at 95%. It says its charging but it doesnt move from that point.Return new battery for warranty replacement.
