Answer» Hi everyone,
I have a weird case. I cannot remember how long my Bios time once were, but I am for sure it does not bother me. Now it is very slow, boost to 30+ seconds. The things I have DONE is:
Changed to a pair of new RAM. Original RAM: XPG Gammix D30 2x8G 3200hz. New RAM: CORSAIR Vengence 2x8G 3600hz. Problem seems didn't start at this time yet. All using Dual Channel (2/4 slot of MOBO)
Changed the RAM back to XPG, the old one. Problem starts to happen.
Did 1-2 for 1 or 2 more times to test.
Try single channel / just using one of two ram sticks, problem resolved.
Change RAM back to single channel. Reset the bios, problem persist.
Reinstall windows, problem persist. <---------- Now
It is clear that problem goes with RAM but I cannot sure where exactly the problem goes. The motherboard ALWAYS STOP at loading RAM for a long time (the diagnose red light). I have two assumptions now:
The dual channel on MOBO break.
The RAM is faulty.
Some Bios setting problem.
Please help me. I really don't know where to start diagnosing. It always helps to have a little more detail of the computer. The quickest WAY to get this detail is with a program called speccy which you can get from here https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/download After running the program select file ; publish snapshot , then copy the url to the report here. Thanks
