Answer» I recently replace my CRT monitor with an LCD monitor. It came with an analog cable. What is NEEDED to HOOK it up to the digital i/p? Is it costly? Also, when I run DOS programs, the monitor TURNS off momentarialy and does so frequently. Is there a fix for this? I'm running Win XP Pro on a PC with an 800MHz processor. The old CRT didn't do the blinking on DOS programs as this one does. A simple connector for digital is all that is needed. It is a DVI connector, check for one at a local store or online. Try updating your drivers, it might be having trouble trying to understand your monitor.It is just CHANGING (or trying to change) video modes when running the DOS programs. Does this happen windowed as well as full screen? Remember DOS preceeded fancy LCD's by a bit.
