e-mail addy removed to prevent SPAM.Hows the cooling?

Download and install Speed Fan.
Run the program and tell us what the TEMPERATURE readings are.

In the mean time, put an external fan next to the computer and see how that goes.
I downloaded speed fan and got theses reading before the laptop shut down.
down arrow HDO 35C
Check Temp 1:48C
check and Core 0: 44C -46C
arrow up

check and Core1: 44C-46C
arrow up

What is clocking does this have anything to do with anything( stop after getting the warning window)?

That's what I use. Mondo dude, MONDO!

Alan <>< I purchased this laptop used, so I don't have any HISTORY on the laptop.
About clocking, the speed of the processor, when I ran fanspeed it had a section of clocking but couldn't GET that far, the laptop shut down. Can it be the harddrive?Forget about Speedfan for now. All I needed was the temps.

So has this problem been happening ever since you got the laptop?

Does it still shut down in Safe Mode?
