im using a lenovo 8808: intel dual CORE, 80gb sata hdd, 1gb ddr ram windows vista
it was on ebay then it bsod... now when ever i power it up it just bleeps im thinking it either the ram or cpu any advise guys (its my mums pc it has no anti- virus)If it shows nothing on the SCREEN and it just beeps, you're right thinking that it's a hardware issue.
Try and listen carefully to hear how many times it beeps. Usually you can FIND the beep codes for different laptops on google.
If you're having trouble with that, try taking out ram and see if the beep CODE changes. It could even be something as simple as reseating your ram.thanks but i just cleaned out the case and changed the HEAT paste and its fine now Glad to hear you got it working.
