Answer» LITE-ON DVD SHD-16P1S is not recognised by XP SP3 as recorder. XP doesn't show Recording tab in DVD Drive Properties, although according to http://www.liteonit.com/global/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=103&Itemid=99&limit=1&limitstart=1 it is supposed to be recorder. MOREOVER, it's been OK before, untill from some point on this issue started. LITE-ON DVD SHD-16P1S is not recognised by XP SP3 as recorder...That's because it's NOT a recorder.Thanks for reply Computer_Commando, Would you please indicate what does make you believe it's not a recorder? My sane arguments are: it'd been recording before and the link provided, plus I can clearly see the "DVD R/RW" writing on Freont panel.
