Solve : Loading 98SE and XP Pro on Same PC?

Answer»

I have 2 HD's installed in my PC.
One has XP Pro installed and running.
I want to load 98SE on to the formatted 2nd drive, so I can use an older digital camera, scanner
and software. with no XP support. I have a boot swap program downloaded on XP drive.
I found a clean install of XP instructions, but 98SE keeps returning "no entries" using search.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction, please. For best RESULTS the oldest WIndows should ALWAYS be loaded first. Win 95, 98 and ME prefer (demand) to be on the first partition of the first hard drive.

When you load XP second it will install it's own boot manager. N0 additional software is needed.I pulled plug on my XP drive.
I was able to set up my second drive using FDISK and set 2 partitions.
C is 2GB
D is 5GB
I formatted C
Restarted using CD support to A prompt.
I assumed my CD drive is now E
Inserted my COPY of W/98SE
Changed A to E typed in setup.exe and now GET bad command or file name.
The setup for windows 98SE will not start.
What am I doing wrong?
I did check my fdisk settings and shows both partitions C and D with C active.
Took a lot of reading and trys to do all this, so hope I did it right.Found my problem.
The drive is F and the setup file is INSIDE a directory called windows9.
Setup has started.
Don,t understand how CD drive got to F, when my partitions are C and D.
Man, this is frustrating, can't wait to try and load XP on the other partition. lol
