Answer» I just finished upgrading my computer. When I tried to boot up all I got was a nonstop beep. I have tried reseating all of the POWER connecters and cables. I have reseated the video card, the cpu, and both sticks of ram. Thinking that I might have a power supply problem I BOUGHT a new power supply did not help. All I get is one long beep. Please explain "upgrade". Is this a completely new computer or an existing computer with new components added.
If this is an Award BIOS I would suspect memory first. Either incorrect, faulty, improperly populated or not seated.
Try one module at a time.
