Solve : Losing Computer Memory?

Answer»

My brother goes to this site that has a lot of video clips, some of them you have to download to see it. When it comes to that, my brother clicks Open, instead of Save, but I still think the video somehow still saves into the computer. EVER since he's been going there, WATCHING videos like crazy, the computer's space has been going down. I lost over 10 gigabytes & it went all the WAY down to 34mb of space left on my computer. I had to delete a bunch of crap (including softwares) just to bring it up to 1 gigabyte, yet it's still going down a little bit. If those videos are saved into the computer somewhere, I'd like to know where so I can delete them (if that's the problem), & I'd like to gain back over 10 gigs again. How about doing a file download ( a small one) and see where the default download spot is on that system. The culprits would be there.

Also delete your temporary internet files (or do a system cleanup (right above defrag).

Then delete the one who is downloading this stuff, or teach him better. They are saved as windows Temporary files.

And they get automatically Re-written over.

But if you want to remove them manually then right click on Internet Exploer and then properties,

The click delete files.
