My apologies if I have misplaced this topic.
The monitor works PERFECTLY FINE and the whole computer usually works. But a few days ago, it would have trouble turning on. I've checked all connections and they're all functional. Occasionally, the machine will half work. (Fans will be working but the lights will be blinking like crazy.) Other times, there's only a faint clicking sound inside.
EVERY now and then, the computer will actually work normally and turn on, but then after a few minutes, it'll turn off by itself. Actually it just shuts down without warning; every thing just goes black.
I have XP incase that helps.

1. Is your CASE (inside) nice and clean or filthy and dusty web-like

2. Have you added any new hardware recently and is the psu* power supply the original unit and how many watts is it rated at?

It's "PROBABLY" your power supply about to quit on you*Well, I cleaned it out recently because when we opened it up there was a lot. I tried to turn it on, but it still didn't work. We didn't install anything new, so it probably is just the power supply then. Thanks.
