Solve : Math formula to determine someone's age?

Answer»

Huh, this is pretty wild, it worked for me and everyone I've tried it with. Use these few simple steps to determine someone's age.

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to
go out to eat (more than zero but less than 10).
2. Multiply this number by 2
3. Add 5
4. Multiply it by 50
5. If you have already had your birthday this year, add 1757 .... but if you haven't, add 1756.
6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should now have a three digit number. The first digit is the number you USED in number 1 and the remaining two digits are your age.

Pretty wild.Ha, works for me too! Used 2 different numbers.I didn't read the ending BIT properly and i thought i was 114 years old.3 * 2 = 6
6 + 5 = 11
11 * 50 = 550
550 + 1757 = 2307
2307 - 1991 = 316

Whoa... this is one of the "cooler" little mind games I've tried lately, thanks My pre-No Kid Left Behind algebra thinks the 1756/1757 numbers have to be increased each year in order for this to work beyond the CURRENT year.

Could be wrong. I LEARNED math before they even heard of fuzzy math.

I am not affected by NCLB -- a small hick town has no use for "fuzzy number" bullcrap.Quote from: Dilbert on April 10, 2007, 05:28:59 PM
