Solve : Maxtor Shared Drive II NAS Setup?

I have a Maxtor Shared Drive II for BACKING up important files, however, I got it USED too replace the other one that failed and made all these unknow directories.  I want too be able too reset it too the manufacture settings.  I also, am placeing it on a switch which, would like the ENTIRE network too see it.Maxtor is a pretty old HDD...you sure you wanna trust your data on it ? ?They still make drives  Link ? ?Maxtor was purchased by Seagate in 2006.   Reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MaxtorLonger ago than i thought...thanx soybean.SeaTools:

The program will work on a Max tor drive, says Seagate.

I forgot that you can reset it from the back using a PIN holeHi Bob

There is software http://www.seagate.com/au/en/support/downloads/item/mss2-vista-zip-master/

This is vista software, couldn't find ANYTHING later. This program allows you to manage the nas,
Partition and reformat drives etc.
If you had one of these nas devices before you may have the software already loaded.
