Solve : memory?

Answer»

Howdy, how does one determine how much MEMORY a PC REQUIRES to perform at its optimal? being a novice I appreciate all thoughts.Well, I aint hardly a pro in this. But more is always better. There is no such thing as to much memory. That SAID, in a 32bit system there is a max, it won't recognize more that 4 GB of memory. A 64-bit system will not have this problem.

For working with Vista at an acceptable level i found 2GB is the minimum, any less and Vista will hog is all the memory for itself. So EVERY time you wan't something more than just Vista it has to free memory first costing valuable time...Welcome to CH,

You can also go here and run their scan on your PC.....This will tell you how much Ram your motherboard can handle.
