Answer» I recently updated my OS from VISTA SP2 to Windows 7. In the transition, I made sure all my drivers were updated and compatible with Windows 7 (or so I thought). I commonly use Ventrilo to talk with FRIENDS. Since my upgrade, though, there is a large amount of static COMING through my mic when I talk both on or off Ventrilo. I use a Dell XPS M1530 laptop. It uses SigmaTel AUDIO drivers. Every program I have is updated. I'm not sure what other information to submit that would help. If anyone could be of ASSISTANCE, I'd greatly appreciate it.
