Microphone not working for some reason when connected to my sound card, wondering what I can do to TROUBLE shoot it
It's a new(er) headset had it for about a month and it's working great, I know the mic works it's just not picking up any sound so there is SOMETHING WRONG setup wise / drivers etc

check list of what I have done so far:
- Upgraded Audio drivers
- Connected the microphone jack to the front panel (not connected to the soundcard) and there was a little more response, (the bars in recording devices beside frontmic light up, assume i need to restart etc for it to actually work through front panel) but I want it to work USING my sound card


setup:
win7 H premium sp1
ASUS XONAR DGX sound card
Steelseries Siberia V2 Analog headset (built in mic)
UPDATE:
mic is recoding audio playback from videos etc but no voice, I figure it's a really simple solllution but i just can't find it :/anyone? It's a really simple issue from what I undestand I just can't get it going

Microphone records audio playback from the PC, not audio bleeding etc just fully records sound from headphones instead of the actual mic itself

need to find out today really bad
