Answer» I work in a university computer lab. Today, a student inserted a miniCD disk into a floppy DRIVE! How should I GO about trying to extract it?
Greatly APPRECIATE any tips! Thank you!!Lift the drive door and extract it with a pair of tweezers. Afterward, TEST the drive by formatting a blank floppy and checking the format report to see if it formatted normally. Then copy some files to it and be sure they can be read and written properly. If the drive head was damaged, you will have to replace the drive.mini/disk can be run on a cdrom drive tell him/her next time to LOAD it ...in the right drive.......or tell them they have detention
