Answer» i KNOW i know i have read all the FAQs about ntldr file and how to fix, my problem is when i LOAD my OS disk and try to repair it says hard drive not detected! i can run a diagnostic in bios and it says hard drive pass. ( primary hard disk self test.... S.M.A.R.T. (quick) - pass comp. - pass s.m.a.r.t. - pass please help. THANKS, doc.How is the drive jumpered ? Is it the only drive on that channel ? Have you tried another IDE cable ?sorry this is all happening to my compaq notebook. i'm work taking advantage of ie here!Another fine example of why we thrive on details here...
