HI THIS IS SHAML

I HAVE AOPEN MOBO MX36LE-UN, I TRIED TO INSTALL SYSTEM FAN 2. IT WAS BEING MODIFIED. THE TWO WIRES BOTH WERE JOINT IN THE MIDDLE AND NAKED IN THE MIDDLE, WHERE IT WAS JOINT. IT ACCIDENTILY TOUCHED TO EACH OTHER AND MY SYSTEM IMMEDIATELY SHUT DOWN. I REMOVED MY CONNECTION FOR THAT FAN AND BOOTED THE SYSTEM THE PROCESSOR LIGHT WOULD NOT COME ON TOGETHER WITH THE CPU FAN.. IN THE SECOND BOOT NO LIGHT DISPLAYED WHAT SOEVER.

I TOT IT WAS THE POWER SUPPLY, TESTED IT AND FOUNDOUT THAT IT WASWORKING PROPERLY.

WHEN THE POWER I SWITCH ON THE POWERPOINT THE MOTHERBAORD STANDBY LIGHT COMES ON BUT STILL NO POWER TO FAN OR NO LIGHT OR TO ANY CONNECTED DEVICE.

CAN ANY ONE PLEASE ADVISE WHERE IS THE FAULT?

NOTE: I HAVE TESTED MEMORY AND POWER SUPPLY AND WHERE I LIVE, NO COMPANY SELLS THE 370 SOCKET MOBO OR PROCESSOR.

CAN SUM ONE TELLME WHERE MAYBE THE FAULT. I HAVE ALREADY TRIED RESETTING MY BIOS AND ALL OTHER PROCEDURES EXCLUDING MOBO REPACEMENT AND PROCESSOR REPLACMENT.SO ANY ONE ANY IDEA WHAT IT CAN BE SO I CAN ORDER AD BUY THAT ONE THING OR TWO POSSIBILY  When the wires touched you created a short circuit and sent an electric surge into the motherboard you have likely burnt out a sensitive and critical component on it.thanks bro for the ADVICE i really appriciate it.

please can i trouble you once more and ask you how can i reaplace that circuit?

also i managed to get another PC with same socket 370. but there are no POST test on it. no display and no processor light?

do you think that in both the proceesors are fried that why or something else ?
  Electricity arcs too randomly and quickly to see where it goes in a short circiuit.

It is very hard to say which circuit or microchip may have got fried unless you have some fancy electronic diagnostic equipment that costs 100 times more than the motherboard itself. It could be your mobo or the CPU.

The only way to to say for certain wether the other mobo is broken completely is to test it with a CPU that you know for sure is good.

If you had a CPU that you knew was good then you could also check the other mobo with that.
