I have a HP pavillion a1530N computer. How can I tell if it has a modem in it. Also, can a WIRELESS router be used with it. Thanks.1) Is there a jack in the back for a phone cord? If so, that's the modem. If not, no.
2) You'll NEED a wireless card / adapter for the system.I don't think he means a dial-up modem. It does have a 56k dial-up modem.
