Solve : monitor all screwed up? |
|
Answer» well i did it but it only made the picture quality worse. i had to go back and tweak the settings just right to maintain what little view i have. ty tho...i think it might be my video card or something and i should get it repaired which i will in a couple days...or maybe just BUY a new monitor if that is indeed the PROBLEM. ty for the replys tho.Since you tried another monitor with same results, and video card drivers were updated with no change, it looks like video card itself is shot. Yeah, don't go out and buy a new monitor. That's definitely not the problem since you've changed it and it was the same. Broni is right. I think a new video card is needed here.well when i turned my computer on today everything was WORKING fine aside from the no signal message at the begining like always. but when it went to my desktop the color was back to normal. ty hopefully it stays this wayThat may be another proof of failing video card. I bet you $5, that's your problem.ya if it does start happening again i guess i will get a new video cardif i do end up having to get a new VC how much will it end up costing me? the VC itself plus getting it installed does anyone have any idea about how much this would cost on average? i would just kinda like to know beforehandYou don't have to pay anyone to install video card. All you need is a screwdriver, and 15 minutes of your time. At: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2000380048+4025&name=%2425+-+%2450, you can get NICE 256MB video card for under $50. |
