I guess I never noticed this probably because I spend so much time staring at my monitor, but lots of friends have pointed out to me that my monitor has a dark reddish tint to it. I still don't really see it unless I PUT another computer (laptop) next to mine and look at both.

I tried the degauss but it still looks the same.

It's a Dimension 8100 Intel Pentium 4Can one of your friends let you hook up there monitor to your computer to establish if there is the problem. Or you hook up your monitor to there computer. Let us know.That's an excellent idea, though it'd be complicated as they are so big and heavy.

Would it have to be a specific kind of monitor (like Dell so that it's compatible) or any monitor?Any PC monitor will do nicely...unless it's from a MAC.
