Answer» At first after TWO hours or so of use the monitor would get dark in a few areas then go black. Then it went black in less and less time, new it goes black in 15 seconds. i can turn the monitor back on immediatly but the monitor just goes off after 20 seconds. its an HP pavilion f1503 and its a few years old. Have you tried checking your POWER options and settings in Control Panel ? ? patio. Swap the monitor with a KNOWN WORKING ONE as a test.
