Try another monitor, as well as a fan to bring down the temperatures:
i have a 1 foot by 1 foot fan blowing into the side of my tower, with the side cleanly off. it takes my temps from 32 to 24-25, you might want to try it, your temps are HIGH

and um, that pic you showed was a space heater.... BAD ideaQuote from: yuki953 on November 27, 2008, 01:10:59 AM

open case.. its your POWER supplyhey brother,
why don't you just pull out the graphics card, and try to RUN your monitor through your on board display card?
that should make things very clear...well thats another problem i can pull it out without my motherboard being pulled out too. I cant find whats holding it in.Quote from: Bunbotman on November 28, 2008, 09:48:18 AM

It may be a good idea to find someone to ASSIST who has built/worked on machines before.
You risk damaging expensive components if you are unfamiliar with this procedure.
There's no shame in ASKING someone to help...we all started somewhere.

As always when working inside the case remove all power sources and take anti-static precautions.

Good Luck and let us know.
