Answer» Greetings all,
I'm at a loss. Whenever I start up my computer my display colors are fine. Then about 10 seconds after the startup PROGRAMS have booted up my monitor gets brighter. Like a flashbang went off. For instance black looks like a dark BROWN, its that bright.
I've RECENTLY upgraded to Vista from XP. I updated my driver for my video card and it seems to be working fine. Though, I found out AFTER I had upgraded to Vista that my MoBo doesn't support the OS. Dumb move on my part I know. Got any ideas?
Any help or advice is appreciated.I'm at a loss too. I can't help you because I don't know the make model and type (CRT/LCD) of your monitor, your motherboard or your video card.
Who told you your "MoBo" doesn't support Vista?

Oops, sorry.
Motherboard: Asus A8N-VM CSM Video Card: ATI RADEON X800 GTO Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 192N LCD
And the Asus site, so far, has no support for Vista for my model.
