Solve : Monitor just stopped working after two years!!!!!! ANYONE WITH HELP???

I have a Philips 200w6, I left my house with the computer on and MONITOR lit for a few hours, mind you this monitor has bin working perfectly for the passed two years. I come home to a black screen, computer running and the power BUTTON on the monitor lit green. i plug another monitor into the comp and the comp works fine. Any ideas what this may be?

jon den Does this monitor work on another computer?I haven't tried. why would you say that?

jon den.the screen is totally out! Nothing shows usually the "no input" box would show or if i hit the volume something would appear. it seams like the back light is burned out.

Does the monitor have a separate data cord? If so, try a different cord.

Yes and yes. Perhaps EVEN a different power cable (if possible).thanks for the help i'll hook to anothing computer in the morning and di'll hit you guys back up.

If the monitor doesn't work anywhere ELSE, it is most likely dead. Do try unplugging it from the wall for over 30 seconds...
