Answer» I have an Nvidio GeForce 5200 video card running on Windows XP home EDITION, and have been running two monitors without problems; one flat screen and one CRT. The CRT went green, then black--and I replaced it with a flatscreen. At first, the video card would not recognize the second monitor. I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, but it still would not recognize the second monitor. Then one day, for no apparent reason, the second monitor came online, and worked beautifully; I had no problems configuring it in dual screen mode. Then I had to reboot for something and LOST the monitor. I did the driver reinstallation again, switched PORTS to see if it was the monitor itself (monitor WORKS fine). REBOOTED again, still no joy. about three reboots (for other reasons) later, the monitor came on line again. Until the next reboot, when I lost it. I still don't have it. Help?
