Answer» I have a friend at work that is haveing problems with her monitor when she turns on the pc the monitor screen goes blue and then black says monitor is working check pc. All worked prior to this problem. Sorry that is all the info I have I am just trying to help her out . could it be her POWER supply cable to her pc? any help WOULD be appriciated. I will try to get more info tomorrow at work thanks. connect a differnet monitor (one that KNOWINGLY works) to her computer and see what happens. if the monitor doesnt work, then her pc is the problem, if the differnet monitor works, then her monitor is the problem. please report back your findings and we can take it from there.And also check that monitor on another PC. WELL we tried all of the above . I think she needs to reformat ? thanks anywayWhat did you find out with the monitor switching? I am just CURIOUS as to how you came to that conclusion.
