Answer» I don't know much about PC's so here goes. I hooked up a monitor on my PC and in the Settings tab I have a bunch of OPTIONS in the Monitor Resolution slidebar - I can GO very small down to 1600x1200. But when we hook up the same monitor to my son's machine - his resolution slide bar only goes to 1280x1024. We've checked the device manager and it's showing the correct monitor name each time. But for some REASON, the smallest resolution he can get is 1280x1024 no MATTER what monitor we plug into it. My computer changes resolution capability each time I hook in different monitors. Why is his "stuck on" 1280x1024 and won't go to the smaller resolution sizes like mine will? This is simply a difference in computers. In this case, it's a difference in the video card or display adapter between the two computers.
