Answer» my monitor has had a blue tint to it for a few months and i have finally gotten the money to get a new ONE however upon installing the new one it also has the same tint even though i REPLACED the cord any thoughts on the next step There are a few solutions i would suggest: 1.Go to your control panel or the software panel it came with and check all your color settings. 2.Check you connection, make SURE the port is not damaged 3.Try lowering the hardware excellerator..right click on DESK top&GT;properties>advanced>troubleshoot..slider for hardware excellorater Sometimes number 3 is a good work around.Alot of times its the video card.If you have an extra video card available swap the video cards and see what happens
