Answer» i have ordered windows 7. but i need to upgrade my ram from 512 to 1024. the problem is i can't find my computer all sites say find manufacture, mine is amd semperon but i can never find it why.Just open up your computer and take out your RAM cards to find out exactly what they are (ddr, ddr2, ect). That's why you won't see it on the memory websites. Online memory SELLERS usually ask for make/model of computer or make/model of motherboard. Um, wasn't this OBVIOUS, by visiting the memory seller websites? If you don't know the make/model ..., use the scanner as suggested.
