From that it looks like Lenovo  is by far the most popular. How could that be.?
What is wrong with this list? Quote from: Geek-9pm on June 18, 2013, 09:16:49 PM

What is wrong with this list?

Removed extra text between the start and end of your post to illustrate my point.
That list shows the most viewed laptop or notebook pages on one website, notebookreview.com - nothing more, nothing less.
There's nothing wrong with the list, I think you may just be under the IMPRESSION that it shows something else.
I would expect the Lenovo to be quite a popular page for viewers because it was released recently, it's a good brand, probably well advertised, etc.If I were shopping online, I'd probably focus on newegg.com, amazon.com, and maybe the websites of retailers such as Staples and OfficeMax, and read buyer reviews posted on the sites.  notebookreview.com is an interesting site and they apparently have their own reviews of scores laptops/notebooks, but they don't have buyer/user reviews, as far as I can see.  So, I wonder how they determine their list of most popular laptops/notebooks.

Well, actually, their ranking methodology is stated right at the top of the page you posted.  It says, "Below is a list of the most viewed Notebook/Laptops based on NotebookReview.com product views data."  So, apparently, they track the number of product views by site visitors and use that data for their ranking.  Again, I think I'd find buyer reviews on seller websites more relevant.
