Solve : Motherboard/CPU Failure??

Answer»

Hi, this is my first time posting here and was looking to get some advice on a couple things.

First off, I got a new computer in May..it's a gaming computer and has a TF8200 A2+ BIOSTAR motherboard, 4 gig ram, a geforce 9800 gtx+ video card. Now my computer was running great, unitl, one day I came home and nothing was showing on my moniter, yet my computer was on. All the cords were plugged in so I decided a simple restart would be suffice. I was wrong, because when I started it again I heard the computer turn on...the fans would spin, and then it would sound like one fan would slow down spinning, then speed up, then slow down, then speed up. So, UPON further inspection, I realized the fan was the one inside my video card. I decided to take my video card and put it into a different computer, and it worked. I then took that computer's video card and put it in mine, and it did the same thing my video card was doing. All other fans spin, I cant see anything on the screen its just black.

Now, I have a Biostar TF8200 A2+ motherboard and I want to KNOW what motherboards out there have the same exact specs in which I could replace it (If its the problem) And what CPU's are compatible. I have no idea where to start looking for things like this and really need help on this.
Thank you for your time.If by new "in May" you mean purchase new as opposed to new to you then i suggest that you NOT try to fool around in it (technical term for try to repair yourself) and either return it to point of purchase under WARRANTY or minimally contact tech support at the manufacturer. If you do CERTAIN things which become obvious then you may well invalidate your warranty. truenorthLike Truenorth said, if it is brand new, try to get someone else to repair it under warranty. If not, then these links to some very similar mobos may help:

MAKE SURE your cpu and other main components will work with one of these mobos if you do decide to go through with this...
Ram is up to 8 gigs of DDR2, 1066 ram
CPU is type AM2/AM2+
HDD is SATA II
so on and so forth
