Answer» I have tried getting into safe mode but without a WORKING keyboard, I couldn't. I have not yet tried with a different keyboard. Hopefully tomorrow.Alright. The computer has failed completely. I got a friend who actually knows about computers to come help me, but as luck would have it, as soon as he got here the computer wouldn't even turn on. He RECOMMENDS a new machine. Any thoughts?I've called up a professionsal computer repair GUY and he says it might be a faulty power supply and that I should look into replacing it.I guess the bottom line is what's in your computer now? Do you have any ROUGH details, motherboard, cpu, hdd, video etc? How old is it? What happens when you push the 'on' button? What happened when you tried to get into safe mode? Unplug the computer from the wall socket for 10 seconds, plug it back in &AMP; try & start it.
