Solve : mouse dont work?

Hi,
I hope someone can HELP me.
My MOUSE is ps/2  2 button with scroll wheel.
It dont move, i can right/left click.
Please help!Is this a wheel mouse, or is it optical? (laser)

Is it uplugged?it is a brand new mouse. yes it has a rubber ball on bottom. at first i had problems with my keyboard , then i bought a new one and it works.
