Solve : Mouse pointer does not move? |

Answer» Bought a used Compaq computer to try to get started with LINUX. 300MB cpu, 4gb hd. Computer had no mouse. Installed a mouse which had been working on another computer. Installation proceded normally. After BOOT up, mouse POINTER was dead center of the screen and wouldn't respond to movement of the mouse. Removed mouse software and installed a different mouse, this one RIGHT out of the box. Same result.USB or PS2 ? ? |
