Answer» Can someone help me please I have had GHOST but on my computer which SOLVED problems I was having, but when it started up again my optical mouse would not drag and drop it just ripples, I tried another mouse and it does the same, I have looked at mouse settings but cant seem to find the answer Thank you in anticipation. It ripples?Quote from: Allan on JANUARY 08, 2010, 04:49:37 PM It ripples? This is my first ever forum so not sure if I am doing it right . Yes when I click on something to move it, it moves with a rippel effect and I dont know where it will stop. My icons had also become a lot bigger after ghosting my computer but I was ABLE to alter them, its as if settings have been changed. I checked my settings for my mouse with my other computer and they are both the same.Control Panel/Mouse/Settings...turn off trails.Thank you for your REPLY but trails for my mouse is not switched on. I am now wondering if it is not to do with the mouse but something else, because if I try to scoll down by clicking with my mouse that also rippels down, perhaps rippels is not the right word but I dont know how else to explain it.Install the current driver for your video card and let's see if that helps.Thank you again for trying to help me out. I had a new graphics card put in after my computer was ghosted that was what caused the problem. I put my Graphics card back in and it worked ok after that. Regards Videojoan. You can use the new card, you just have to install the correct driver.ThanksSure |
