Answer» I was trying to play a demo that uses MS-DOS. Originally it worked fine, the DOS prompt would appear and give me the game's options, but when I would try and load the game, I got an error when I got to the gameplay part, it would say "an installable virtual DEVICE failed DLL initialization", so I had to delete and remake the "VirtualDeviceDrivers" key to stop the error. Here is my current problem, every time I try to run the demo's .exe, the prompt comes up for literally a split second and closes. What can be done? ADDITIONAL information -Normal Command prompt STILL works fine -The demo was for Dark Forces -Could I have done something wrong with my fixing of the VirtualDeviceDrivers? I did everything I was told, THOUGH I could have gotten the directory wrong. Here it is. My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\VirtualDeviceDrivers
