Solve : Msi 3080 rtx problems? |
|
Answer» I recently purchased a msi 3080 rtx card and put it into a completely new pc. The pc worked for roughly a day with games running perfectly fine and the temps of all the hardware such as the cpu and gpu were fine. Then the pc was left idling and on for a couple hours and it shut off and EVERYTHING else turned on again and was running fine except the graphics card. I put the card into ANOTHER computer and it still didn’t work while putting a different card into the new computer worked. Is it possible that somehow the card got damaged to the point of being broken or that it was a faulty card that just luckily ran for a day. Some of the other specs include a Ryzen 5 5800, Asus b550 am4 motherboard and an 850 watt power supplyFaulty card...I would return it for a refund You are not the first who have a card of this series broken in an indistinct way. I advise you to return it immediately under warranty and not to hand it over to the services, and even more so not to climb yourself, do not tear off the seal. The reasons can be different, from incorrect supply of VOLTAGE from the unit, to banal overheating DUE to non-working coolers (they have this frequent problem when buying, which should be the first thing to pay attention to). In general, hand it back. Also, I advise you to look for this problem in https://www.google.com/ , sorry for my bad english Rather than a replacement i would get your money back...and move up to an ASUS or Gigabyte card...EVGA is also top end as well. |
