Answer» Quote from: BC_Programmer on November 21, 2013, 03:49:05 PM My problem with Piracy is not that people do it, but that people will not only do it, but they think they can turn around and say "I'm doing them a FAVOUR". You aren't doing anybody a favour by stealing their work. Stop trying to fabricate a narrative fantasy based entirely on your desire to maintain a moral high ground. At least when I pirate stuff I don't try to pretend I'm doing anybody any favours. I guess I can't REALLY argue with that - it all MAKES sense. I was trying to make myself believe that I am not doing anything morally wrong. I will just admit that I am not doing the right/legal thing. Logically this makes sense, but psychologically I don't feel like I am doing harm. Maybe it's the fact that "everyone" does it, or because I've never had people criticize me for it (in person), EITHER way - you're right. Case Dismissed. Quote That's Personal Exhibition. That's fine. Also, if you're friend bought the song than obviously there was some reimbursement to the creator. PS I think you meant to write your in this sentence. Enough. Topic Closed. |
