Did you happen to use the WD software included when you set up this drive ? ?

It is PARTITIONED to 400+G...
That does not mean there is any data on that drive...in fact i think if you can see it on another machine i'd burn it to CD's DVD's immediately if it's important..

Bottom line the drive was never setup properly as it does not even show it's full
capacity...
Except in Device management.
