Answer» it was fine a few day's ago but then it started doing this. i've already went into the monitor settings and some people say to change the refresh rate but i don't have a refresh rate OPTION. all i have is default monitor. i need a step by step instruction on how to fix this. it's driving me crazy!!!Let's start with this - Download and install the latest driver for your video card. ALSO, if there is a driver for your display, install that. You said this just started - what happened just before that - new hw, sw, virus, error, etc?how do i figure out what video card i have? i installed a game right before that and uninstalled it because i didn't have the right video card so i just said the heck with it.it's also seemed to slow my comp down a bit. i used to be able to click and go but now it takes it a while to do anything. i think maybe when i uninstalled farcry2 i might have uninstalled SOMETHING else.Look in Device Manager Quote from: jaxstarke on January 14, 2010, 08:50:54 AM how do i figure out what video card i have?
