Hey guys and GALS... okay heres the situation... Earlier this morning my COMPUTER would not start. I then Unplugged it etc... messed with it. The somehow it started. After I sent it to Hibernate it NEVER came back again. I've taken off the battery etc.. nothing. The blue light where the power cord connects turn on when i plug it in. Which makes me think its not totally dead! What else can I try?? is there any form of reset??

I should also add it is an HP Pavilion dv2000 with a Vista O/SDoes it work without the battery, only running on AC? (I'm guessing this is a laptop)OOPS YES my Laptop. Battery is dead Im assuming.ahh- but if the battery was dead- would it not turn on via the adapter? (without battery).

try turning it on with only the battery, only AC, as well as both.yes just that my battery was not CHARGING due to the fact that I took off the battery for awhile with the intent of maybe resetting it. But even then b4 all of this Itried it both batery or just plugIm guessing you either left it on all night, or overclocked it, without cooling properly
