|
Answer» I have an Hp Pavillion a1310n running Windows Media Center Edition. AMD 64 3700+ Processor 1GB RAM. It has a CD-r,-rw/DVD-r, +r, DL, Ram; Drive with Light Scribe. I have had the computer about 6 months and i got it at office depot. A few days ago i bought a Logitech wireless desktop, and i brought it home POWERED down my computer, plugged it in and turned it BACK on. I put in the driver/software cd for the keyboard and mouse and nothing happened. I put in a few other CD's and none of them would read. The drive just lights up and makes a clicking sound every 5 seconds or so. I can hear it start to spin it , and then it just stops and clicks. The drive will read all DVD media; movies, data, blank recordable. The drive will not however read any kind of CD. I have run PC doctor 5 and it can't read the CDs either. I have also tried updating the drivers via internet, but it SAYS they are up to date. I have no i dea what else to do PLEASE help me, ThanksHas this UNIT ever read CDs? Try an audio CD. Any good? |
