Answer» hi i have a PC with these DETAIL: cpu: 3.06 intel ram:1.gig H.D.D:200 gig sata2 maxtor DVD/RW:Teak mainboard:ASUS P5- GD2 and i use WIN xp sp2 pro *************************** my problem is :when i do COPY from a dvd or cd to harddisk speed of transfer is very very low i tested DVD/RW on another system and this work very nice and i tested another o.d.d on this system and it was very slow too i know i have a problem with my main board how i can fix iti must add this that DVD/RW use IDE cableYour problem might be that the drive is using PIO mode. Check the guide here. If that doesn't work you might be MISSING a driver for your motherboard.
