Answer» I've done memtest. Will look at the SHORTING with case thing tomorrow. Can someone recommend some other software to use to MONITOR the cpu temp?Quote from: maxcheese3 on August 01, 2011, 08:34:42 PM Can someone recommend some other software to use to monitor the cpu temp?Try this: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.htmlQuote from: soybean on August 01, 2011, 09:08:20 PM Try this: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.htmlThat's a good one as is HWINFO32: http://www.hwinfo.com/download32.html BTW: This APU laptop is impressive. Wireless is faster than wired. You can't even hear it running. 7200rpm WD drive is the way to go, HD temp is 36degC, CPU is 40degC. Hooray I finally figured it out. I was asking tons of other people too and everyone was stumped. I had the ram speed at 1600mhz in the bios, because it is 1600mhz ram. I messed around and changed it to 1333mhz and... BOOM, it works. Do you have any idea why that is. It lowered my WEI to 7.3 instead of 7.5, but it works now. So I am happy, but still confused . YAY! I don't know whether to mark this as solved or not.No reason to be confused... Both the MBoard and the RAM control the speed they support... Glad to hear it worked out... You will not see a measureable difference between 1600 and 1333. |
