Solve : my laptop doesnt power?

hi
i have toshiba satellite A50
last week i broke the power BOARD
i soldered a new one
but my laptop doesnt power at all
there are only two lights in the front
please can anybody HELP me to know what problem i got
do the soldering affect the motherboard
thanks a LOTIF the laptop isn't booting after homemade repair the most likely cause would be that whatever you did to repair it isn't working. But at this point we don't really know what you broke. What do you mean by "power board"? Did you break part of the motherboard? How did you repair it?hi

the power board is not ATTACHED to the mother board it is the piece where we insert the power supply

Yes.A repair like that should always be LEFT to a professional, which is where I'd take it now and see if they can still do anything with it.
