Answer» last two month i change my laptop dvd rom,i couldnt slip it in so i forced it and whack! it went off,forget to say it was turned on.but since then when i turned it on it just on.I mean only the power led light,fan and hdd wont spin dvddrive wont on it light,i wont hear any boot up sound, the usb port and other outer port works.screen show BIOS then error message.but recently everything went fine for just a day and whack! it went dead again.i mean the hdd,fan and dvdrom....COMPLICATED. You've buggered it...time to shop for a replacement. You could try removing the CDROM you whacked and see if it boots normal LIKE... PS. You could try removing the CDROM you whacked and see if it boots normal LIKE...
