Solve : my pc has no sound?

i reinstall xp in my pc when i logged in windows there was no SOUND... the SPEAKER was plugged correctly..then i installed sound from mercury mainboard cd installation was finished and restart it... then ALSO no sound...then i check device manger.. there yellow question mark on pci(simple communication controller)is that is why my PC has no sound??? then what shall i do???Did you install both the CHIPSET driver and the audio driver?Quote from: Allan on September 11, 2009, 08:49:26 AM

It sounds like you've only partially installed the sound card software.

Alan <>< when i install chip system show no chip found.....but chip is in the motherboard
It has to be the correct driver for your chipset or it won't install.
