Answer» I tried ADDING new rams to my pc but after that it won't start up at all it did not complete POST after cd-rom it STOP at floppy drive and stay there occasionally u can hear the pc tring to read the floppy drive. my monitor also not showing anythingCould be the wrong RAM. Replace the original RAM then travel to Crucial.com and enter your SYSTEM specs and it will tell you exactly what type that machine uses. We don't have this info so we cannot advise...but even if i SET back the old ram it still cannot bootit seems that everytime i on the pc it will have the reading from floopy drive sound then goes to cd-rom and back to floppy drive and HANG thereSomething obviously happened prior to this... Want to provide any details at all about the machine, OS, etc. ? ?Yes, what happened to the old RAM?
Details about the computer and it's history are required. Miss Cleo is off till after Thanksgiving.Did you take static precautions?
Is it seated properly?^^ I'm agreeing with you.
You've either not loading the RAM in properly or you've tried to do it the wrong way and perhaps damaged the old one?
